Meet The Owner
Dominique Shamberger is the Owner and Operator of Evolution of Self, LLC, she has over 10 years working experience in mental health. She received her bachelor's and master's degrees from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA. Dominique is a LCSW that views Social Work as never “work”. In her spare time, she explores further research on Social Work principles and theories, mental health, and being present with family. She serves in the community as the Vice President and Volunteer with NAMI Guilford. Dominique is trained in EMDR, trained in Circle of Security Parenting (COSP), and uses trauma sensitive interventions and techniques as her foundation. She is a graduate of the accredited Training for Adoption Competency (TAC) course with C.A.S.E. She believes in building genuine connections with others as she serves as an aid on the journey of evolution. She is a mother, a wife, and an advocate.
